Starbuck - unfinished (much like the character on the show - badly drawn and unfinished)
Bristol Board & Ebony Pencil Sci-Fi Magazine reference photo. This is the first portrait I've done in a very long time...even so I drew this a few months back. The muses have been less than kind and any attempt I've made to lure them back has been unsuccessful. I'm starting to worry that they're gone for good. Comments
Thank you.
I'm not knocking the character, she's one of my favs. Although I hated the way the her character's end was written, it felt 'unfinished'. Much like my drawing. heh -- /~*~*~[]~*~*~\/~*~*~[]~*~*~\/~*~*~[]~*~*~\ " ...after that it went down the porcelain god with the suction power of an intergalactic wormhole." - Ruhig on Alias More like ambiguous end, by making and naming Starbuck an "Angel" or "Cylon" or "Extra-terrestrial being" you make her sound smaller and like it sounds less interesting if you label what SHE Was/Is. I liked that she sort of didn't say goodbye, it would have been harder and she was just "like" an angel or special being. The drawing is very good.
I loved the finale. I think as a show it gets better on re-watch, we can't change the ending now, it's done, at first I was like wtf....ok, after re-watching it more and more it's fitting, logical, and practical. Which was always the shows moral tread line. -- Nothing but the rain ... |
